  • As it’s been mentioned a few times in class, the state of things in our lives has been so very challenging to process. Yet coming to my fabric, my machine, my needle and thread, my intention, has given me space to be and to breathe. While it doesn’t change anything of what is going on externally, it has definitely supported me internally and my hope is that somewhere my cosmic thread continues to add to our great tapestry that is life.

  • Thank you Justice for the guidance and generosity in leading our class. The class was thoughtful and encompassed so much material — color theory, intuitive practice, technical sewing, community. I got so much out of it.

    Kristin

  • Magic Vest class has been a perfect way to close out the year in community, with intention & creativity...I have thoroughly enjoyed the slow process & especially the grace & encouragement you lead the class with. Thank you, Justice!

    Julie

  • I’m so glad that I decided to take Justice‘s magic vest class. In addition to learning the practical skills needed to make my own vest, I came away with a newfound appreciation for working on projects slowly and with intention, thanks to Justice’s prompts. I really appreciated the additional lessons on topics like color theory, community, and symbols, but most of all it was such a joy to spend those 2 hours each week in community with like-minded sewists. And I have worn my vest every single day since finishing it!

    Cassidy

  • Over the six weeks of the class, I was introduced to new-to-me skills like embroidery, appliqué, and curved color blocking that I can already feel opening up my creativity and a renewed love for the slow process that is handmade clothing. These skills were woven into discussions over community, ritual, and creativity, and was everything I needed right now.

    - Jill

  • Through my participation in this class, I learned to set fiber arts goals and develop an actual plan to carry them out. Now, I can go forward and begin accomplishing. Thank you, Justice.

    Kathy

  • I have taken many classes over the years and this course is thoughtful and well-designed. It really motivates me to go back to one of my essentials - art and making things.

    Nora

  • The wall hanging class was everything needed to step into the spring season with inspiration, intention and eagerness. From an exploration of color, symbolism and creative process through the first and last stitch, Justice made learning a lot of information accessible and joyful. The sense of community felt and the encouragement to nurture yourself, your art and your local community was an added bonus!

    Natasha

  • This class was such a great experience!! Justice is a wonderful teacher and graciously shares her art and knowledge. She creates a positive environment for all students and is very encouraging and available for questions. The calls are awesome and there is a lot of back up material provided so if you want to revisit the course material at any point you have many options to do so. It was wonderful to be part of this special group.

    Pam

  • This was an inspiring, educational and fun class. I've never taken an online sewing class but this one was wonderful - it fostered community and Justice was a lovely host! Justice was very patient, open to questions, well-prepared and all 'round great teacher.

Kat C, Crafting a Wearable Spell

  • Vest class truly was so magical ~ from the lessons on colour theory, symbolism and textiles, to the community I found with everyone who attended the calls; I felt so deeply inspired to be authentic, connected + creative. The beautiful vest I made speaks volumes to how amazing Justice is at what she does, the wonderful way she teaches, and the way in which she shows up for the creative community.

    Millie, Crafting a Wearable Spell

  • This class was not only a space to get creative but also to connect with like minded individuals. Justice provided a safe space for us to be vulnerable and create meaningful connections while putting an intention into a carefully crafted piece of armor. I am looking forward to taking more classes from Justice and rocking my badass magic vest.

    Rosie

  • This class was just what I needed. Because my bandwidth often feels limited, I’ve been rushing through projects lately and this class reminded me to slow down and embrace the messiness and beauty of creating, that the journey is just as special as the finished product. It unlocked so much within me and I’m already dreaming about my next wall hanging project.
